From the sumo presentation I got an insight into the creative process on how a game is made. We were given details on how sumo were given the opportunity to create the latest in the little big planet series first created by media molecule. We saw the process in which the company took on this project from the concept stage, to a fully rendered game. The process was detailed as being long and a extensive project but were happy to have taken the time to create it.
We learnt on how a game presentation should go. We learnt on how to present your envisioned idea and show a lot of enthusiasm towards it. A presentation should be extensive and detail the key features off the game and how the intended target audience would find enjoyment in it.
Overall I found the presentation very insightful as it was good to hear form a professional game dev on what goes into making a game within a company such as sumo and gave us advice on how to present our own game concepts.
