Second person address 

Second person address is when you use phrases such as 'you can' and 'you will'

In the forza 5 review this language technique is used effectively to create the effect of the writer directly talking to his target audience. This is a good technique as it makes the reader feel more involved into the article there reading.


In the review i found the quote "utterly enchanting handling" to be very effective as it has connotations of happiness and beyond limits. He is reffering to the core game mechanics which is a great way of using a hyperbole to describe a key feature of the game and by using the language feature, keeps the reader involved in the article.

After reading the entire article i have decided that it would influence me to buy the game as it outlines some of the many things that are good about the game.

Star Wars Republic Commando is a gritty first person shooter developed by lucasarts and released on march 1 2005. This has been named by fans of the game as the best co-op shooter that isn't co-op, at first this may be confusing but the games mechanics in which you order your fellow squad members to do certain tasks within the game world such as "take cover" and "use this as a sniper position" these features give the game the feel of a co-op shooter but with AI. It offers star wars fans a original story from the point of view of a elite clone trooper, this offers a perspective never before seen in the star wars universe.
